Event Booking & Liability Policy

This policy governs bookings for Red 1 Airsoft gameday events and sets out the terms, risks and responsibilities that apply to everyone who attends our site. By booking an event or entering the site you accept these terms on your own behalf and, where you are booking for a minor, on behalf of that minor.

Event Pricing

Walk-on: £30 per person. Includes access to the airsoft site, participation in all game rounds, the safety briefing and chronograph testing, use of on-site facilities and safe zones, and access to the on-site shop and refreshments.

Rental package: £60 per person. Includes everything in the walk-on package plus an airsoft rifle rental (typically a G&G M4 or equivalent), lower face protection, 3,000 BBs, and lunch (burger or hot dog, soft drink and a chocolate bar).

Prices include VAT where applicable and are subject to change. The price you pay is the price shown at the time you book.

How to Book

  1. Visit our event bookings page and select your event date.
  2. Choose the walk-on or rental package.
  3. Enter the participant details for every person in your booking.
  4. Complete payment online, or contact the shop to pay another way.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email with the event details.

Payment options: online booking by card or PayPal, payment on the day in cash or by card, or by calling 07466045268. Places are only guaranteed once payment is received.

Age Requirements and Consent

The minimum age to play at Red 1 Airsoft is 12 years old.

  • Players aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied on site by a parent or legal guardian for the whole event. That adult must remain on site throughout and is responsible for the player at all times.
  • Players aged 16 and 17 must produce a consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian. We may require an accompanying adult at our discretion.
  • Players aged 18 and over may attend unaccompanied.

Photo ID is required at check-in. Where a player is under 18, the accompanying parent or guardian must also produce photo ID and sign the participation forms in person. We cannot accept consent forms signed in advance by someone who is not present unless we have agreed this with you beforehand in writing.

Entry will be refused without refund if age cannot be verified, if a required parent or guardian is absent, or if consent forms are incomplete.

Waivers and Participation Forms

Every participant must complete and sign our participation form and liability waiver before taking part. For players under 18 the form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian. No person will be permitted onto the game area without a completed form.

Signing the waiver does not remove your statutory rights, and nothing in it limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. It records that you understand the nature of the activity and accept the risks that cannot be designed out of it.

Assumption of Risk

Airsoft is a physically demanding outdoor activity carried out on uneven ground, in variable weather, and involving projectiles fired at participants. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Being struck by a BB is an inherent and expected part of the game and can cause pain, bruising, welts, and occasionally cuts or minor bleeding.
  • Running, climbing, and taking cover on natural terrain carries a risk of slips, trips, falls, sprains, and impact injuries.
  • Protective equipment substantially reduces but cannot eliminate the risk of injury, including serious eye injury if eye protection is removed or is inadequate.
  • Other participants may behave carelessly or in breach of the rules despite our supervision.
  • Pyrotechnics, smoke and other effects may be used at the site.

You take part voluntarily and in full knowledge of these risks.

Health, Fitness and Medical Conditions

You confirm that you are physically fit to take part and that you are not aware of any medical reason why you should not. You must tell a marshal at check-in about any condition that could affect your safety or the safety of others, or that emergency services would need to know about, and about any medication you carry. This information is treated confidentially and used only for your safety.

You must not take part if you are unwell, injured, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We may refuse participation on health and safety grounds.

Insurance

Red 1 Airsoft Limited maintains Public Liability Insurance to a limit of £10 million. We also maintain a written Health and Safety Policy and documented Risk Assessments, both of which are available on request by email.

Our insurance covers our own legal liability. It is not personal accident cover for participants and it does not insure your personal property. If you want cover for your own injury or equipment you should arrange it yourself.

Liability

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your own breach of the site rules, from your failure to wear the required protective equipment, or from your misuse of any airsoft gun or equipment.
  • We are not liable for the acts or omissions of other participants.
  • We are not liable for loss of or damage to your personal property brought onto the site, including airsoft guns, optics, clothing, vehicles and their contents. Property is brought at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings.
  • Where we are liable for anything else, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the event booking.

Booking Changes and Cancellations

Event bookings are non-refundable. However, you will not lose your money. If you cannot attend:

  • Your booking can be carried over to the next available Red 1 Airsoft event.
  • Your ticket credit remains valid for future events.
  • To transfer, contact us at shopify@red1airsoft.com or 07466045268 and tell us which event you would like to attend instead.

Bookings may be transferred to another person provided you tell us the new participant's details before the event so that we can complete age and consent checks.

Non-refundable circumstances include cancelling for any reason, not turning up, and arriving after the event has started.

If We Cancel an Event

We may cancel or cut short an event for reasons including severe weather, unsafe ground conditions, insufficient bookings, site access problems, or any circumstance that makes running the event unsafe. If we cancel:

  • You will receive a full refund, or
  • You can transfer your booking to the next available event, and
  • We will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where an event is cut short after it has begun for safety reasons, we may offer a partial credit at our discretion. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur in connection with a cancelled event.

Right to Refuse Entry and to Remove Participants

We may refuse entry to, or remove from the site, any person who breaches the Site Safety Rules & Code of Conduct, behaves dangerously, aggressively or abusively, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, refuses to follow a marshal's instruction, uses equipment exceeding our limits, or cannot satisfy our age and identity checks. No refund is given in these circumstances and we may decline future bookings.

Equipment and Chronograph Testing

All airsoft guns brought to the site must be chronographed by a marshal before use and must comply with our published limits. Any gun that fails is not permitted on the game area. Bringing a non-compliant gun does not entitle you to a refund. Rental packages are available if your own equipment cannot be used.

Photography and Media

We may take photographs and video at our events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear, tell a marshal at check-in and we will do our best to accommodate you. For participants under 18 we will not publish identifiable images without the consent of the parent or guardian.
