1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Red 1 Airsoft website, online store, events, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase through our website, registering for our events, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify users of significant changes by posting an updated version on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date.

2. Product Information & Availability

Product Descriptions. All product descriptions, images, prices, and specifications on our website are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all product information is completely accurate, error-free, or up-to-date.

Availability. Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities of any product, discontinue any product at any time, and refuse or cancel any order. If a product is listed as out of stock or becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will notify you immediately and offer a full refund or alternative product.

Pricing. All prices are in GBP (British Pounds) and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price you pay will be the price in effect at the time you place your order.

3. Product Orders & Purchase Terms

Order Process. By clicking "Complete Purchase" or a similar button, you are making an offer to purchase products from us. Your order is not confirmed until we send you an order confirmation email.

Acceptance of Orders. We reserve the right to refuse any order or cancel an order after it has been placed, for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud or unauthorized use, unavailability of products, inaccurate product information, technical errors in pricing or product listing, or violation of age restrictions or legal requirements.

Age Restrictions & Legal Compliance. By purchasing from Red 1 Airsoft, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), you comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations regarding airsoft products, that for Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs) you provide valid UKARA membership or alternative legal authorization, that you will not use products for any illegal purpose, and that you will not resell or transfer products in violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to request proof of age and UKARA status before fulfilling orders.

Contract Formation. A binding contract between you and Red 1 Airsoft is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. Your order confirmation will contain a summary of your order and these Terms.

4. Payment

Payment Methods. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers (where available).

Payment Processing. Payment will be processed at the time you place your order. Your payment details are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers.

Authorization. By providing payment information, you authorize us to process your payment. If payment is declined, we will attempt to contact you to resolve the issue. If payment cannot be received, your order will be cancelled.

Currency & Charges. All transactions are processed in GBP. If you are paying from outside the UK, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees and foreign transaction fees. We are not responsible for these fees.

Fraudulent Transactions. If you notice any unauthorized or fraudulent charges, contact us immediately at shopify@red1airsoft.com. We will investigate and work with your payment provider to resolve the issue.

5. Delivery & Shipping

We use multiple UK carriers for fast, reliable delivery, including DPD, Royal Mail, and Evri. Order processing is 1-2 working days (Monday-Friday, excluding UK bank holidays); during high-volume periods processing may take up to 3 business days. Processing time begins after payment is confirmed and verified, and UKARA verification may extend processing by 1-2 days.

FREE SHIPPING ON ALL ORDERS to UK mainland addresses. Orders to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man may incur a remote area surcharge (displayed at checkout). International shipping is available on select products with full costs shown at checkout. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

See our separate Returns & Refunds Policy for complete details. In summary, most items can be returned within 30 days in new, unused condition for a full refund (excluding return shipping costs).

7. Cancellation Rights

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. See our separate Cancellation Policy for full details.

8. Product Warranty

See our separate Product Warranty Policy for complete details. In summary, most products come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

9. Airsoft-Specific Terms

Age Requirements. All airsoft products are only sold to customers aged 18+. By purchasing, you confirm you are 18 or older and will not sell, transfer, or provide airsoft guns to anyone under 18.

UKARA Registration & RIF Sales. Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs) are airsoft guns that closely resemble real firearms and cannot be easily distinguished as toys. To purchase a RIF you must provide valid UKARA (UK Airsoft Retailers Association) membership proof, OR have an active account with a recognized airsoft site for at least 3 months, OR be purchasing a two-tone airsoft gun (which do not require UKARA). We will verify your UKARA membership before dispatching RIF purchases; if verification cannot be completed we will cancel your order and issue a refund, and you may be asked to provide additional documentation to prove your airsoft status.

Airsoft FPS Limits at Red 1 Airsoft Events. AEG (Automatic Electric Guns): maximum 350 FPS. DMR (Designated Marksman Rifles): maximum 450 FPS (30m minimum engagement distance). Sniper Rifles: maximum 500 FPS (30m minimum engagement distance). All firearms are chronographed (tested) before each event to ensure compliance.

Non-RIF Products. Products that are not realistic imitation firearms (e.g., two-tone airsoft guns, accessories, protective gear) can be purchased without UKARA verification, but are still only sold to adults 18+.

Prohibited Use. You agree that you will not use airsoft products illegally or in violation of UK law, use them in public places where they are not permitted, use them to intimidate, threaten or harm anyone, modify airsoft products to make them more realistic or more dangerous, sell or transfer airsoft products without complying with UK law, or use products outside of designated airsoft sites without permission.

Liability Waiver for Airsoft Products. Airsoft products can cause injury if misused. By purchasing airsoft products, you assume all risks associated with their use, understand that even protective equipment cannot guarantee safety, agree that Red 1 Airsoft is not liable for any injuries resulting from product use, accept responsibility for ensuring safe and legal use, and confirm you understand and will follow all airsoft safety rules.

Modifications & Tuning. If you use third-party services to modify, tune or upgrade airsoft products, the original manufacturer's warranty may be voided, Red 1 Airsoft is not responsible for modifications made by third parties, we recommend using only qualified technicians, modified products must still comply with Red 1 Airsoft event FPS limits, and modified products may not comply with UK airsoft regulations.

10. Event Terms & Booking

Event Pricing. Walk-on: £30 per person, including access to the airsoft site, participation in all game rounds, safety briefing and chronograph testing, on-site facilities and safe zones, and access to the on-site shop and food/refreshments. Rental Package: £60 per person, including walk-on access, airsoft rifle rental (typically G&G M4 or equivalent), face protection (lower face mask/balaclava), 3,000 BBs, and lunch. Booking Procedures. Visit www.red1airsoft.com/pages/event-bookings, select your event date, choose walk-on or rental package, enter participant details, complete payment (online or contact shop), and receive a confirmation email with event details.

Age Requirements for Events. All participants must be 18+ years old. Photo ID is required at event check-in.

11. Event Cancellation Policy

Your Cancellation Rights. Event bookings are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, your booking can be carried over to the next available Red 1 Airsoft event, you will not lose your payment, and your ticket credit will be valid for future events. To transfer your ticket, contact Red 1 Airsoft at shopify@red1airsoft.com or 07466045268 and specify the event you wish to attend instead; your credit will be applied to the new booking.

Red 1 Airsoft Event Cancellations. If we cancel an event (due to weather, safety, or other reasons) you will receive a full refund, OR you can transfer your booking to the next available event. We will contact you as soon as possible if cancellation is necessary.

12. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Red 1 Airsoft provides the Services "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.

Limitation of Liability. Except as required by law, Red 1 Airsoft shall not be liable for loss of profits, revenue or business opportunity, loss of data or information, consequential, indirect, incidental or punitive damages, damages resulting from product misuse or modifications, injuries from airsoft product use, or any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the product.

Consumer Rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under UK law, which cannot be waived.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website is owned by or licensed to Red 1 Airsoft and is protected by UK copyright law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use any content without permission.

14. Website Use & Acceptable Conduct

Permitted Use. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon anyone's rights.

Prohibited Activities. You will not attempt unauthorized access to our systems, upload viruses or malware, engage in hacking or phishing, spam or flood the website, impersonate anyone, engage in harassment or discriminatory behavior, or post illegal content.

Enforcement. We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, and report illegal activity to authorities.

15. User Accounts

Account Creation. To make purchases or use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information, keep your password confidential and secure, be responsible for all activity under your account, and notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

Account Termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, fail to comply with age restrictions or UKARA requirements, or breach the Code of Conduct.

17. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

How to File a Complaint. If you have a complaint about our products or services, please contact us by email at shopify@red1airsoft.com, phone 07466045268, or address Senseo House, St. Peters Street, St. Albans, AL1 3LF.

Response Timeline. We will respond to complaints within 5 business days and work to resolve the issue.

Escalation & ADR. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be eligible for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through Citizens Advice Consumer Service (www.citizensadvice.org.uk) or Ombudsman Services (www.ombudsman.org.uk).

Legal Proceedings. These Terms and any disputes shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and Red 1 Airsoft agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

18. Limitation Period

Except as required by law, all claims must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arises.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be removed and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns Policy, Event Policy, and any other policies posted on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Red 1 Airsoft.
